The hotel boasts a great location, making it easy to access key attractions. The room was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and pleasant environment. However, the overall friendliness of the staff fell short of expectations. While not rude, the service lacked the warmth and hospitality that can elevate a stay from good to great. It is an area where improvement could significantly enhance the overall guest experience. In summary, Kew Green Hotel offers a fantastic location and clean accommodations, but a more welcoming and friendly staff demeanour would undoubtedly improve the overall stay.

The restaurant at M floor has a view of the Hennessey road down below and the restaurant manager Ms Grace Hui and the Thai chef are making us want to come back and stay at this hotel again. They are so warm and kind to our little kid. It was a memorable moment dining at this hotel.

Supposedly a green hotel which totally means a non smoking one. When I walked into my room at 602, I was greeted by 2 of their guests at room 601, who were seated near the entrance of their opened room door, smoking and enjoying their tea. I reported it to the front desk via the phone but they were unable to do much. There were loud noises that night till 1am from room 601 & of course the cigarette smoke from their room filled mine through the aircon ducts. I literally had a nasty night which I cannot sleep at all! I requested for a room change that night & the front desk staff tried their best to change & it did happened the next day. Was given a larger room at 901 & we had peace for the remaining 3 nights of my stay. Honestly, why spend one’s holiday in such a hotel!?

Stayed here for the second time now and this trip was for nine nights. Spacious, comfortable and everything necessary provided. Good breakfast is available, which if anything was too big for me! It is right in the heart of Wan Chai and the Wellcome across the road was very handy. Staff were friendly and approachable too. Highly recommend this hotel as a place to stay in HK.

My stay was pretty comfortable, rooms are spacious and well kept, although in the room I stayed, 1109, there is a problem with the bathtub drainage - it is just very, very slow. Taking a shower for about 1 minute and water starts to accumulate in the tub, which makes it for a less than optimal shower experience. In my last day, drainage was even slower, which suggests the hotel staff will have to take a look very soon before it becomes completely clogged. Otherwise, a pretty good choice for a stay in Wan Chai area of Hong Kong.

Very accessible by HK airport bus. Bus from airport stop in front of hotel. Can get more airport bus info from Concierge desk. Check-in service at counter was fast. Hotel WIFI available. About 5-7min walk to Wan Chai MTR. Crossover you'll reach Johnston Rd.

Hotel room is quite small. The toilet is so small that there isn’t room to hang the towels. Fittings are quite old too. Akai LCD TV is still being used with limited TV program. This is probably the 1st generation LCD tv. Staying here for the 2nd day give a feeling that I’m staying in a very old hotel. It’s gonna be week of torture to stay at this Kew Green Hotel, Wan Chai

Good value for the money - esp. in Hong Kong. Would come again. PROS: - very clean, good scent, quiet, pretty well lit. - allowed early check-in and upgraded to larger King room with sofa and space - especailly rare in HK hotels at this price point - Timothy checked me in - mostly friendly staff - clean exercise room with 4 machines - running, biking, elypitical. But pretty small. Basically, a room converted to exercise room - secure - key in elevator for floor access (but it's a bit tempermental) - elevator is quick - Pretty convenient to public transport and short walk to MTR busses and food. Room details: - 4 bottles of water and bathroom items for the forgetful plus ample towels, cloth bathrobes (like five star places), safe, small refrigerator, work desk - blackout curtains worked very well - quick hot water - good ventilation in bathroom; decent size - good light switch controls, power ports and USB ports CONS: - though quite acceptible, it shows a bit of ware. Nothing unsafe or unclean and would not affect my willingness to come again. But not a 5-star hotel) - from lobby to elevator must go up short set of steps so not wheelchair friendly. - one front-desk woman was a bit unfriendly - like she didn't want to be bothered. A local with Assie accent. - Thai massage type places across the streed makes the area seem a bit seedy
